Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Maintenance Repairman 2 to perform skilled journey level work across multiple trades, maintaining park buildings, facilities, and equipment. You will support safe operations and help ensure park structures remain in good condition, leading essential tasks as required.

Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, welding, mechanical work, equipment operation, and grounds care to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1, or four years in building and plant maintenance across at least two trades.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License is required.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, welding, and mechanical tasks for park facilities.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and complete required reports and maintenance checks.
• Maintain turf, trails, roads, and landscaping through pruning, planting, mowing, and snow removal.
• Clean facilities, store tools properly, and assist with treatment plant operations and other assigned tasks.
