The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Kings Gap Environmental Education Center seeks a skilled Maintenance Repairman 2 to keep park facilities, equipment, and natural spaces in top condition. This full-time role offers hands-on work across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and mechanical tasks, contributing to a safe, welcoming visitor experience.

You'll operate light and heavy equipment, maintain logs, care for trails and landscapes, assist with hazardous tree removal, and guide laborers

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building/plant maintenance with two trades.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License required.
• PA residency waiver is currently in effect.

Responsabilités

• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and mechanical tasks to maintain park facilities.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and maintain required maintenance logs.
• Maintain trails, roads, lawns, and garden areas throughout the center.
• Support hazardous tree removal, invasive species control, and pesticide/herbicide programs.
• Conduct snow removal, winter prep, and seasonal facility upkeep.
• Guide laborers, volunteers, and other workers during repairs and construction projects.
