Job summary

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead and optimize maintenance operations for production equipment, improve reliability, and ensure safety.

You will manage preventive and predictive programs, supervise a small team, coordinate with operations, handle budgeting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of training, experience, and education.
• 5+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience, including hands-on mechanical and electrical work.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience.
• Experience in managing maintenance programs, personnel, and resources.
• Experience in CMMS software; UpKeep experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift certification and the ability to operate forklifts with various attachments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage plant maintenance operations, staffing, and department performance.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment, with proper planning and CMMS documentation.
• Supervise team responsible for conveyors, belts, motors, hydraulics, and other machinery.
• Hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate maintenance staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate inventory, vendor relations, purchasing, and capital repair planning.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance across maintenance activities.
