Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance in our beverage manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. You will oversee a team of technicians, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability to support continuous high-quality production.

The role emphasizes safety, GMPs, HACCP/SQF compliance, and strong problem-solving. You will train and coach staff, manage parts inventory and work orders, and drive continuous improvement while balancing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of PM, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and packaging equipment.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, and basic welding/fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and develop staff.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians on all shifts.
• Plan, schedule, and execute PM programs on production lines, conveyors, fillers, packaging equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment quickly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF).
• Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and work orders.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians on technical skills and safety procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Monitor and manage department budget and spending on parts/supplies.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring equipment issues.
