Job summary

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative in Oregon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant maintenance operations, drive preventive maintenance programs, and ensure equipment reliability and safety.

You will supervise a small maintenance team, coordinate with operations to improve plant performance, and maintain CMMS UpKeep records, while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial plant maintenance.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership/management experience.
• Experience in recycling environments.
• Forklift certification and safe operation.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and department performance.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Supervise a maintenance team for equipment like conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and other plant machinery.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, develop, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and capital repair planning.
• Communicate downtime and repair timelines to Plant Manager and leadership.
• Lead safety and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Maintain CMMS UpKeep documentation and records.
• Travel occasionally to OBRC plants in Oregon.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
