Job summary
Pacific Recycling, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Eugene, Oregon to lead and improve our maintenance program across its Eugene, Klamath Falls, and White City facilities.
The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning to boost equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime, with periodic travel to Southern Oregon locations. You will develop and mentor the maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance standards, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program across all locations.
- Review maintenance schedules to ensure PM is completed on time.
- Improve systems for tracking work orders, repairs, inspections, and costs.
- Prioritize maintenance activities based on safety and operations impact.
- Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and prevent recurrences.
- Coordinate planned maintenance with operations to minimize downtime.
- Support maintenance of diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment.
- Coordinate PM for mobile equipment and fleet; ensure inspections and repairs are documented.
- Assist with equipment replacement, capital planning, and major maintenance projects.
- Provide maintenance planning and oversight for multiple facilities and travel as needed.
- Establish consistent maintenance standards across locations.
