Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Facility Maintenance & Customer Interface role based in NY. You will perform maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs while interfacing with customers and ensuring smooth facility operations.

Responsibilities include daily garage inspections, safety checks, report of issues, and adherence to company policies. Flexibility for 3rd shift and weekends may be required; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or combination of experience and education.
• Facility maintenance, electrical and/or painting experience may be required depending on assignment.
• Must be able to read, write and interpret English; able to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and fix maintenance issues.
• Sweep entrances, exits, rails, and restrooms; empty trash; perform painting as directed.
• Replace burned out bulbs; manage oil spills; submit repair requests as needed.
• Check gate arms, ticket spitters, and general operations; report safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies; keep sweep sheets; operate cleaning equipment.
