Job summary

VCNA Superior Materials LLC. in Farmington Hills seeks a Maintenance Scheduler to cover absences and increased maintenance demands, developing plans, part lists, and equipment requirements for the Maintenance Operations department.

Responsibilities include managing SAP work orders, coordinating with supervisors, procurement, and field maintenance, and supporting KPI reporting while ensuring safe, efficient plant and mobile fleet operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CMRP certification is a plus.
• 5–10 years practical maintenance experience, preferably in ready mix; 2+ years with computer-based planning/scheduling.
• Proficiency in SAP, budgeting tool, scheduling tool, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work orders and requisitions (materials and services) in SAP and ensures parts/labor are available before release.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Field Maintenance to evaluate capacity and subcontracting needs; sequence activities for daily schedules.
• Liaise with Procurement to expedite external parts and contractor labor as needed.
• Use job plans to determine parts/tools/tech docs; distribute weekly/bi-weekly schedules to operations/maintenance.
• Support Maintenance Planning Manager with routine maintenance planning for mobile fleet (resources, parts, tooling) and scheduling.
• Assist with BoM, job plans and task list development using historical information and input from stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports on backlog, schedule compliance, productivity, and trends.
• Perform administrative duties related to fleet licensing, tolls, fuel rebates and regulatory compliance.
