Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate planning and scheduling for plant maintenance activities at the Chesapeake, VA facility.

You will liaise between Operations and Maintenance, ensuring accurate data in the CMMS and supporting scheduling and procurement for maintenance outages. The role requires strong Excel and MS Office skills, ability to manage multiple inputs under deadlines, and experience with safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong listening and clear written/verbal communication.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate multiple inputs under deadlines.
• Reading and understanding schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules work orders, estimating hours and coordinating materials.
• Assist in administering outside contractor work and services.
• Schedule work by priority and criticality without micro-guidance.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct Safety Hazard Analyses.
• Coordinate activities between Maintenance and Operations.
• Track and report maintenance backlog on a regular basis.
• Research vendor manuals and contacts to fulfill work order needs.
• Prepare requisitions and work with Purchasing for POs.
• Analyze historical equipment data, costs, and budgets as requested.
• Operate equipment such as industrial forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain weekly/monthly reports for inspections (DEQ, SWPPP).
• Oversee daily Scalehouse operations and provide support as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
