Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Waterloo, IA facility. This onsite role will plan, schedule and coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for production equipment and facilities.

You will work with maintenance, operations and engineering to ensure safe, reliable and cost-efficient maintenance execution. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in maintenance planning, experience with maintenance management systems (SAP preferred), and strong skills in MS

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in maintenance planning or related field.
• Experience using maintenance management systems (SAP preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to improve reliability and uptime.
• Receive and prioritize work requests based on impact, safety, and production needs.
• Develop detailed work plans including labor, parts, tools, and instructions.
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotations, and create purchase orders for parts and services.
• Manage maintenance inventory and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records in the CMMS and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support shutdown planning and related projects as required.
