Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance in our Virginia facilities. This fast-paced role requires planning and scheduling outages, procuring services, and ensuring work complies with safety standards.

You'll work with area coordinators and contractors to keep equipment running. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or a Mechanical Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and cost variance analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for assigned facilities area.
• Forecast, prepare, and explain cost variances for outage work.
• Procure equipment, materials, and outside services with focus on fixed price packages.
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outage work.
• Develop and update job plans for repairs and equipment.
