Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize and schedule all maintenance activities for the assigned area within our facilities. This fast-paced role thrives in a dynamic team environment and requires strong planning, cost forecasting, and contractor oversight.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or a Mechanical Engineering degree, with experience in SAP-PM, Primavera, Six Sigma and Lean, plus excellent communication, leadership and multitasking

Qualifications

• Requires planning and scheduling experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP-PM, Primavera, and Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and initiate mechanical and E/I work orders; monitor cost variances for outages.
• Procure equipment, materials, and outside services with focus on fixed-price packages.
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outage work.
• Develop and update job plans for equipment repairs.
• Audit shop papers and maintain job history for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Area Coordinators and supervisors on priorities.
• Oversee contractors and nested subcontractors' administrative matters.
• Review outage backlog in SAP and advance P4 work orders.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and safety integration.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
