Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator in Morristown, TN. The role focuses on work order planning, scheduling, MRP, and MP2 administration to support efficient maintenance operations.

You will drive material planning, parts sourcing, and KPI-based improvement initiatives, coordinating with a maintenance team and external contractors. The incumbent will manage daily work requests, ensure accurate data in work orders, and schedule critical parts arrival to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of maintenance leadership or planning experience.
• Strong project management and supervisory capabilities are required.
• Familiarity with CAD drafting and blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize work orders, schedule maintenance, and manage daily requests to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain MP2/PM programs, verify part requirements, and manage spares and materials integration.
• Coordinate outages, develop detailed planning schedules, and manage contractor resources and safety.
• Analyze equipment history and KPIs to improve reliability and maintenance performance.
