Job summary

Materion in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to organize preventive, predictive, and corrective work for site assets, ensuring safety and reliability. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams and leading planning efforts to minimize downtime.

You will drive data accuracy in CMMS, maintain equipment documentation, and participate in pre-outage scheduling with a focus on continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate degree in a technical/manufacturing field.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering or technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as an A-rate mechanical or electrical technician or 2 years as a maintenance supervisor.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or military environments.
• Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology (ITAR/EAR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance work with standard templates and proper parts/tools.
• Develop and maintain PM/PdM/overhaul/replacement strategies aligned with operations schedules.
• Lead area maintenance meetings and pre-outage planning prioritization.
• Lead annual PM quality reviews and CMMS training, driving safety improvements.
• Maintain data for equipment, BOMs, drawings, manuals, and tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, storeroom, procurement, IT, and external suppliers as needed.
