Job summary

Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support planning, writing, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance across the Bakersfield facility.

You will help identify work, order parts, and ensure safety standards and quality are met in a fast-paced production environment. You will maintain the CMMS, assist with safety programs, and collaborate with plant teams to minimize downtime while adhering to cold-temperature and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant preventive/predictive maintenance in food manufacturing.
• Ability to read maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
• Proficient in using CMMS for maintenance records.
• Ability to work in cold environments and with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, writing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment to aid in preventing breakdowns and diagnosing issues.
• Assist in ordering parts and planning execution of maintenance work.
• Maintain and update the CMMS with tasks, reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete required paperwork and uphold housekeeping standards.
