Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a qualified Facilities Technician to maintain building systems, HVAC and related equipment to support manufacturing operations. You will participate in preventive maintenance, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in building maintenance, HVAC service, and electrical diagnostics, with a CFC certification.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in building maintenance, HVAC service, and electrical diagnostics.
• CFC Universal certification or equivalent required.
• Good written and communication skills; MS Word/Excel familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping of equipment rooms and mechanical areas; repair walls and related structures.
• Provide electrical checks and resets for circuit breakers.
• Maintain doors, hinges, latches, and safety signs; ensure proper operation of dock doors and levelers.
• Assist in training entry level technicians and temp staff as needed.
