Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Fordyce, AR is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

You will collaborate with production, maintenance, and contractor teams to manage work orders, secure parts, and support preventive/predictive programs that improve plant performance. Proficiency with CMMS and MP2 is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Two or more years in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance work proactively with proper scoping, estimating, and readiness prior to start.
• Coordinate and plan maintenance work orders and resources.
• Identify additional resources and communicate needs to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use CMMS to develop/maintain maintenance schedule and update BOMs.
• Identify improvement opportunities and maintain maintenance records.
• Scope work for routine and outage activities; verify parts/tools availability.
