Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Oriented Strand Board (OSB) facility in Fordyce, AR. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime on a day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am–3:00pm CST).

You will partner with production, maintenance, and contractor teams to manage work orders, secure parts, and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience repairing manufacturing machinery and/or electrical equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, motors, transmitters).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Plan, estimate, and coordinate maintenance work orders.
• Identify resource needs and communicate with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use CMMS to develop schedules, manage equipment data, and BOM updates.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements.
• Maintain essential maintenance records and files.
• Scope work and assess requirements for routine and outage activities.
• Verify parts, materials, and tools availability before execution.
