Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Planner II to improve efficiency of the maintenance workforce. You will create large-scale maintenance projects with detailed plans, including specifications, BOMs, tools, and safety procedures.

You’ll review work orders, ensure preparatory work is completed, and drive cost forecasting and data accuracy in MMS systems. You will partner with procurement to secure parts, support budgeting, and lead safety-focused maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalent experience with HS Diploma/GED.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering.
• Required Work Experience: 5 years.
• Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office.
• Travel Requirements: 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage complex maintenance projects from identification through scheduling and execution.
• Create detailed job plans with specifications, BOMs, tools lists, and safety procedures.
• Review work orders and job sites to ensure validity and preparatory work is completed.
• Maintain maintenance master data and reconcile discrepancies with the Maintenance Manager.
• Contribute to equipment maintenance strategy for predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Forecast costs for parts and supplies and communicate them to maintenance management.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehousing to secure non-stock parts and materials.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
