Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Planner II at the Theodore Cement Plant, AL. You will plan and deliver large-scale maintenance projects with detailed job plans, including technical specs, BOMs, safety procedures, and downtime estimates.

The role emphasizes accuracy of maintenance master data and collaboration with procurement and maintenance managers. You will drive responsible task planning, cost forecasting and continuous improvement in planning processes while ensuring safety compliance and

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalent experience with HS Diploma/GED.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering
• Travel Requirements: 10%

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage complex maintenance projects in MMS (MAC/SAP) across maintenance activities.
• Create detailed job plans with technical specs, BOMs, work sequences and safety procedures.
• Review each work order and site to ensure work is reasonable, valid and properly prepared before scheduling.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehousing for non-stock parts as required by the job plan.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

8 years equivalent experience with HS Diploma/GED
