About The Role

An electrical maintenance planner II is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive schedule of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical systems within a facility, utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan work orders, identify potential issues, allocate resources, and ensure optimal equipment reliability and safety by coordinating with electricians and other relevant departments.

What You'll Accomplish

• Implement complex and large‑scale plans in the Amrize Maintenance Management System (MMS) – e.g., MAC/SAP – covering all aspects of electrical maintenance activities: work identification, planning, scheduling, execution; collaborate with other planners to allocate work.
• Maintain accuracy and continuous update of maintenance master data (part numbers, bills of materials, work order history, etc.) within the MMS; partner with the Maintenance Manager to identify and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure the equipment maintenance strategy for predictive, preventive maintenance, repair, and annual maintenance, as established by the Electrical Manager, is realized in daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans.
• Add pertinent information to work orders to facilitate comprehension by the execution team, including scope of work, preparatory work before downtime, detailed job plans with work sequences, equipment downtime, work hours, and collaborating with other planners to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
• Determine costs for parts and supplies for each work order and communicate accurate forecasts to maintenance management.
• Work closely with procurement and warehousing to guarantee availability of non‑stock parts and materials required by the job plan.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Communicate, improve, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies; promote a culture of safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or 8 years of equivalent experience with an HS Diploma / GED.
• Field of Study Preferred: Electrical.
• Required Work Experience: 5 years.
• Required Training/Certifications: Basic understanding of electrical components such as relays and breakers.

Additional Requirements

• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators; employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the fit test.
