Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Brewton mill in Alabama seeks an E&I Maintenance Planner to support planning in the Utilities Department. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the role collaborates with the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, hourly EI Technicians, and operations staff to coordinate and optimize maintenance activities.

The position emphasizes MBM principles and involves developing scopes, BOMs, and schedules to ensure safe, efficient execution across a 450-employee site.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in an E&I planning role or 5+ years working in an E&I Industrial Maintenance role
• Experience reading P&IDs, loop sheets & equipment drawings
• Experience in generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and obtaining quotes
• Experience with maintenance or turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

Responsibilities

• Plan work and develop job scopes in assigned areas using best-in-class methods to enable safe, efficient execution
• Support events across Pre, Execution, and Post phases; transition to Field Execution Coordinator as needed
• Ensure vendors understand project timelines and expectations
• Communicate issues, opportunities and solutions early and often
• Participate in/logistics plan development for each event
• Develop innovative ideas to improve reliability, yield, and cost
• Promote MBM principles as a foundation for business decisions
