Job Description: Maintenance Planner at US Farathane

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

The planner is responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and facilities, and optimizing maintenance resources.

Essential Functions:
  • Create maintenance schedules and work orders, coordinating maintenance staff and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Estimate labor and parts costs for equipment and repairs.
  • Maintain parts inventory and order as needed.
  • Create procedural manuals that detail standardized work.
  • Prioritize work orders based on costs, available resources, and asset criticality.
  • Coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintain records and files for maintenance department management and record-keeping requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between maintenance and operations.
  • Work independently and provide direction to others.
  • Recognize opportunities for process improvements.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and organization skills.
  • Have a clear understanding of preventative maintenance techniques.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, specifically creating charts, graphs, and formulas.
