Assistant Scheduler (Finance)
Job Description Summary:Assist with developing, monitoring progress, and tracking pre-construction schedules, baseline job schedules, and schedule updates, including self-perform work. Evaluate progress and support delay and productivity analysis.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform all essential Senior Scheduling Engineer responsibilities.
- Analyze project documentation, contracts, and subcontracts.
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent, including self-perform, with the development of master project schedules and subcontractor schedules.
- Assist Scheduler with developing schedule details.
- Develop and update preconstruction schedules with teams.
- Assist project teams with schedule updates.
- Assist with developing proposal and bid schedules with teams.
- Prepare as-built schedules.
- Perform activity coding and manage P6 database.
- Update preconstruction and construction schedules.
- Support review of Trade Contractor schedules, progress, delays, and productivity change requests.
- Assist in productivity tracking procedures and data collection.
- Prepare month-end schedule reports and narratives.
- Create charts and graphs to support change orders and claims analysis.
- Compile data for claims preparation and analysis.
- Perform TIA analysis for change orders and claims.
- Assist Project Teams in compiling costs for delays, disruptions, and acceleration changes.
- Cross-check activity durations with budget production rates to verify goals.
- Perform standardized activity coding within P6, understanding scheduling contract requirements.
- Assist field personnel with P6 fundamentals and scheduling procedures.
- Compile and communicate weekly KPI dashboards for Project and Self-Perform Teams.
- Review contracts to enhance understanding of scheduling requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements or Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of construction-related experience, including 2 years in scheduling, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Critical Path Method scheduling.
- Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
- Familiarity with job cost information.
- Proficiency with P6 Professional and Microsoft Suite & Bluebeam.
- Understanding of construction cost accounting.
- Estimating and scheduling skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally within divisions.
