Job summary

OSI Group in United States is seeking an entry to mid-level Maintenance Parts Inventory Specialist to assist with controlling maintenance parts inventory and PM documentation in the facility.

You will support communication with management, mechanics, and vendors, organize stock, and maintain accurate CMMS records. The role requires basic computer skills, organizational abilities, and familiarity with MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify maintenance parts and supplies.
• Organizational skills to catalog and properly store maintenance parts and supplies.
• Basic computer skills to use the computerized maintenance management system and MS Office.
• SAP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with controlling maintenance parts inventory and PM documentation.
• Communicate with management, coworkers, and vendors regarding parts and questions from mechanics.
• Organize and store maintenance parts and supplies, and keep the parts room clean.
• Operate a forklift or dolly as needed to move parts.
• Maintain records and generate reports on stockroom activity and costs.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure CMMS records are accurate.
