Job summary

OSI Group is seeking an inventory/purchasing specialist to manage parts and tools for maintenance teams. You will place orders, track deliveries, and ensure accurate recordkeeping within the asset management system.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, moderate data-entry proficiency, and a basic understanding of purchasing and inventory control. Associates degree preferred. The role offers benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Ability to work with a personal computer and accurately enter data into spreadsheets or functional specific software.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors; negotiate best price and coordinate deliveries.
• Place orders for maintenance parts and supplies; follow up to ensure availability for production needs.
• Review invoices for accuracy and retain documents per record retention policy.
• Enter and update asset management system with equipment and maintenance data.
