Job summary

HorseShoe Beverage Company is seeking a Maintenance Parts Coordinator to manage the parts room, receipts, and issue flow in a food-manufacturing facility. You will maintain accurate inventory, perform cycle counts, and work with Maintenance, Purchasing, Receiving, and vendors to ensure critical parts are available and downtime is minimized.

The role requires strong organization, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn inventory systems like Plex or Redzone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or maintenance preferred.
• Maintenance or industrial parts experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to learn inventory and maintenance-management systems.
• Ability to accurately enter part numbers and quantities.
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and clean maintenance parts room.
• Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming maintenance parts.
• Issue parts to Maintenance Technicians and accurately document usage.
• Maintain accurate inventory quantities and locations.
• Perform routine cycle counts and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory and identify parts that need to be reordered.
• Assist with creating purchase requests and tracking open parts orders.
• Follow up with vendors on pricing, availability, lead times, and outstanding orders.
• Verify received parts against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Ensure parts are properly labeled with part numbers, equipment information, and storage locations.
• Maintain organized storage locations for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and facility parts.
• Track repairable components that are sent to outside vendors for repair.
• Maintain records for warranty parts and returned components.
• Assist Maintenance leadership with controlling parts inventory costs.
• Identify obsolete, duplicate, or excess inventory.
