Mission Rock Residential in Tigard, OR is seeking a Service Manager (Maintenance) to oversee daily maintenance operations at The Fields property. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule work, manage vendor relations, and ensure compliance with housing laws while upholding company standards.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting awareness, and hands-on problem-solving across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas.

Qualifications

2 years of Service Manager experience in a garden-style property.
CPO certification for pool maintenance.
Knowledge of federal fair housing laws and local housing provisions.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance at the property.
Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and team activities.
Direct and supervise maintenance staff; plan, delegate, and review work.
Train and coach maintenance team members and supervise performance.
Participate in diagnosing problems and completing repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
Conduct daily property inspections and maintain cleanliness with the team.
Manage vendor/contractor relationships and quality control.
Complete unit turns and address normal wear and tear.
Respond to on-call emergencies on a rotation basis.
