Job summary

Worksourceheartofgeorgia is seeking a Maintenance Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee site maintenance activities for plant utilities, including hot oil units, air compressors, and chillers. You will ensure parts are ordered, track progress, and lead a team of millwrights and contractors to deliver safe, efficient results.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance management experience with planning and coordination.
• Experience leading millwrights and contractors in a maintenance environment.
• Background in preventive maintenance programs and safety inspections.
• Strong reporting and record-keeping skills for maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all site maintenance activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
• Order and track parts and materials required for maintenance tasks to ensure availability.
• Monitor progress and follow up on maintenance activities to ensure work orders are completed.
• Coordinate maintenance work by outside contractors with emphasis on quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
• Manage millwrights, provide direction, support, and technical guidance.
• Develop and implement safe work permits and SOPs.
• Conduct Tool-Box Talks and reinforce safety practices.
• Maintain safe working environment for maintenance and production personnel.
• Attend safety meetings and apply learnings to daily operations.
• Assess PPE needs and coordinate with EHS for availability.
• Assist in maintaining parts inventory and vendor pool transparency.
• Support execution of work orders and planned maintenance.
• Ensure preventive and safety inspections meet regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance operations and work orders.
