Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support daily operations. You will service a wide range of equipment, from dryers and HVAC to pumps and conveyors, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

The role involves preventive maintenance, rapid repairs, and coordination with management to schedule regular upkeep.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of mechanic experience in manufacturing or distribution.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
Repair malfunctioning machines quickly and safely.
Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and report them.
Order and install replacement parts for machines.
Assist in electrical projects and minor electrical repairs.
Assist in pipe fitting tasks and some installation work.
Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, and water/sewer systems.
Maintain shop areas, tools, and parts inventory.
Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance.
