Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift in Highland Heights, OH. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and facility systems, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment and processes.

The role requires an HS Diploma or equivalent, with preferred Associate Degree. Candidates should have electrical, HVAC, or plumbing experience and be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Higher preferred.
• Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing experience required; certifications preferred.
• Basic reading, math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electric, lighting, plumbing
• Coordinate building repairs and maintenance with outside contractors
• Perform machine maintenance per manuals including filters, belts, chip tanks, coolant
• Drive tow motor, scissor lift, and use pallet jack
• Implement lockout-tagout procedures for all equipment
• Assist with EH&S compliance and initiatives
• Troubleshooting
• Shovel snow and salt walks when necessary
