Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician (3pm-11pm). The role offers a starting rate of $39.27 per hour including a $1.25 shift differential.

You will assemble, repair, diagnose, and maintain a range of machines in a manufacturing setting, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The position requires a high school diploma, prior assembly and tooling experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior assembly experience preferred.
• Hand tools and power tools experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of an 8–10 hour shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild, or overhaul machines in shop.
• Repair or install parts in machine components.
• Diagnose and remedy minor electrical trouble.
• Perform bench and machining operations on various parts.
• Operate lathes, grinders, milling machines and related equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain high quality in work performed.
