Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Electrician for the 1st shift in Decorah, IA (7:00am–3:00pm). You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing setting, seeking to minimize downtime while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year Industrial Electrician Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman’s license.
• AC/DC motor control installation and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical installation and troubleshooting of oil lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Basic PLC programming knowledge.”
• Basic variable speed drives installation, programming parameters and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment with electrical techniques.
• Maintain facility equipment and related systems.
• Complete preventive and corrective repairs.
• Fabricate, rebuild, and install electrical systems and schematics.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Document completed repairs and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain facility access control, fire alarm, and emergency lighting.
