Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning motors, control systems and other machinery.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training Maintenance staff and production personnel as needed.
• Complete maintenance logs and maintain documentation for all activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular preventative maintenance, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of various motors within our facility. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, with a particular emphasis on the food sector.

Responsibilities

1. Performing regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnosing and performing repairs on malfunctioning motors, control systems, and other machinery.
3. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
5. Participating in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Assisting in the training of Maintenance Department staff and production personnel as needed.
7. Completing maintenance and repair logs, and maintaining documentation for all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

9. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A relevant trade certification or Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
