Jobot is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair manufacturing equipment in our California facility. The role focuses on keeping machinery running at peak performance to meet production needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical/mechanical components.
  • Experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment-related problems affecting schedules.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, logs, and inventory levels.

Job Details

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning at optimal levels to meet production demands. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Perform electromechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve any issues with equipment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve any equipment-related issues that may impact production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures and protocols to improve overall equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Technician role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical and mechanical components.
  • Experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating with others to achieve team goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
