Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all types of machinery and equipment in our facility. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of machinery and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Work closely with the production team to identify and address any issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including voltage, circuits, and motors.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
