The Crawfordsville Distribution Center for Penguin Random House is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing organization.

In this role, you will perform a combination of duties to construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities. Prior experience working in facility maintenance is essential.

Proven skills relating to electrical construction with the ability to read schematics, mechanical trades, forklift/conveyor repair experience is a plus. Prior experience performing duties associated with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLC's is desirable but not required. Additional experience with other crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and welding will contribute to a well-rounded candidate.

Candidates must have two or more years of relevant experience, possess basic PC skills, and be physically capable of performing heavy lifting. The availability to work overtime is essential.

The shift hours for this opportunity are Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This shift also pays an additional 12.5% shift differential to boost your earnings.
