Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift

Join us at Flex-N-Gate as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift.

Position Overview

This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is a non-exempt hourly position. The mechanic repairs and maintains machinery such as presses, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and construct using wood, cinder block, and I-beam; maintain hydraulic and mechanical presses; and upkeep of physical and sanitary systems.
• Troubleshoot fabrication machines.
• Perform welding, with preference for one year of stick welding experience.
• Operate maintenance machinery and read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Observe and diagnose mechanical devices in operation.
• Set up dies, dismantle devices, inspect parts, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Maintain proper records and ensure safety and environmental standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; additional education preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in various physical positions.
• Wearing appropriate safety gear is required.
• Must pass the Ramsey Mechanical comprehension test and communicate effectively in English.
