Job summary

RRD is seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor for the 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) to keep production equipment running and repair a range of machinery such as die cutters, sheet-fed presses, and conveyors. You will follow diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs to diagnose problems and perform precise repairs.

You will train colleagues, uphold safety standards including OSHA/HazMat/NEC, and support ongoing operations with a proactive maintenance mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex equipment and machinery.
• Advanced knowledge to trace malfunctions across mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret complex drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specs to isolate faults.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HazMat, Lock Out Tag Out, NEC and related safety standards.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures.
• Repair and maintain machinery per diagrams, manuals and specs (die cutters, presses, conveyors, etc.).
• May repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools.
• Train other employees and support evolving business needs.
