Job summary

Saputo Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Maryland to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment within a food manufacturing environment. The role requires familiarity with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated controls.

Expect a demanding, safety-conscious team environment with room for growth. The position follows a 12-hour rotating schedule (5pm–5:30am) with initial training on weekday days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• But industrial ammonia refrigeration and boiler experience is required.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electrical schematics a plus. SAP experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems using test results, machine error messages, and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and wear.
• Observe and test operation to diagnose malfunctions with testing devices.
• Operate repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections and testing.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain industrial production equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
