Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our Frederick, MD facility. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production and processing machinery, including refrigeration and utility systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
• 1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• SAP experience desired.
• Willing to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
