Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for overnight shift (10:00PM–6:00AM) to maintain ammonia refrigeration systems and related facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety-compliant tasks while coordinating with outside contractors as needed. Responsibilities include keeping logs, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring GMP and food-safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must complete Basic Ammonia Operator training within 6 months.
• Familiarity with process instrumentation, PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance and services for ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, water heating system, boiler/condenser water chemical system.
• Assist with refrigeration system inspections and logs.
• Operate forklifts and perform daily safety inspections.
• Adhere to GMP, safety guidelines, and SAPUTO policies.
• Work weekends/holidays as needed and complete assigned tasks.
