Job summary

Continental Carbonic Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with new equipment installations. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and ongoing monitoring in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong hydraulics/electrical/PLC skills, and ability to work a 12-hour shift with some weekend work. Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with robotics is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces around machinery.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• A Maintenance Skill Level Exam will be administered to determine pay level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair from blueprints or vendor specs.
• Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new equipment.
• Maintain records for Process Safety Management procedures.
• Oversee equipment changeovers and assist training of employees.
• Maintain repair areas and assist coworkers as needed.
