Job summary
Saputo, Inc. is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to diagnose equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery.
The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to read schematics. Applicants should have 1–2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, SAP familiarity, and the willingness to work rotating shifts, including overtime and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
- Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read schematics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment problems from tests and operator data.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and machinery.
- Disassemble and repair machinery as needed.
- Inspect parts for defects and wear.
- Test operation after repairs to verify effectiveness.
- Enter codes to program computer-controlled machinery.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Document maintenance records and work orders.
