Our team is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to uphold our commitment to safety and customer service.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems within a food processing environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform visual inspections of machinery and equipment to identify defects such as breakage or excessive wear.
2. Troubleshoot and repair production or processing equipment, focusing on modern automated systems.
3. Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, implement effective solutions, and ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities.
4. Identify and respond to unusual machine noises or malfunctions to prevent downtime.
5. Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineering staff to resolve technical problems.
6. Dismantle malfunctioning equipment and install new or repaired components as needed.
7. Clean, lubricate, and maintain parts including shafts, bearings, and gears for smooth operation.
8. Support operation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia, and other critical systems.
9. Install and repair electrical components such as transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
10. Maintain and repair physical structures of production equipment and facilities.
11. Operate welding and cutting equipment for repair and fabrication tasks.
12. Conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
13. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
14. Work independently with initiative and self-motivation.
15. Operate and maintain material handling equipment regularly.
