Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform demand and preventive maintenance, as well as repair of facilities and equipment at Adare’s Philadelphia Manufacturing and R&D facility. The mission of the Maintenance Department is unimpeded availability of Facilities and Equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic is critical to fulfilling this mission.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assure equipment and facilities are operational, functional, and in good repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment.
• Complete maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including checking and changing fluids, lubricating, packing mechanical units, maintaining filters, and inspections.
• Inspect, repair, and replace electronic and pneumatic instruments.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Set up and move new or existing equipment.
• Support Engineering in capital projects.
• Assist with instrument calibration and equipment validation.
• Perform tasks following OSHA, cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Complete work orders, submit forms, and input data into maintenance systems.
• Support safety and cGMP programs.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned by the Facilities and Engineering Manager.
• Complete tasks safely and with alertness.
• Uphold company policies and conduct standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Work effectively under deadlines.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical training preferred.
• 3+ years experience in maintenance, GMP experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine problems.
• Knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
• Understanding of electrical power distribution and control.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and control circuits.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and computers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
