Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their maintenance department in Mansfield, TX. This position focuses on preventive maintenance and general repair of a variety of production and facility equipment within a world-class industrial environment.
Perform all maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner , following all safety procedures and regulations.
Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Minimize equipment downtime and support overall machine reliability and repeatability.
Maintain organization of toolboxes and shop areas.
Prioritize tasks to support production goals and respond efficiently to unplanned equipment needs.
Accurately log time and maintenance activities in the CMMS system (Limble preferred).
Read and interpret technical manuals and preventive maintenance instructions.
Assist in coordination with external vendors for installations and repairs.
Support maintenance team operations and contribute to CMMS system data accuracy.
1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and instructions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems.
Skilled in using measuring tools and instruments for diagnostics and repairs.
Ability to operate hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
90% of the time will be spent indoors in a climate-controlled facility; occasional outdoor work required.
Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production area.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
