Job summary

Golden State Foods in Burleson, TX seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to plan, direct, and monitor maintenance policies to meet efficiency and productivity goals across the plant. You will supervise a maintenance team, oversee preventive maintenance, manage spares, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime while upholding GMP and safety standards.

This role requires a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering and 7–10 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler, and other systems.
• Maintenance management in a manufacturing environment; GMP knowledge.
• PL/PLC programs familiarity; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff to ensure optimal utilization and production schedule adherence.
• Monitors maintenance of production machinery and spare parts to minimize downtime and meet requirements.
• Directs preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds for safe, efficient operations.
• Designs or directs control system designs to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Supervises maintenance staff, including work allocation, training, and performance appraisal.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
