Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Sr Automation & Controls Supervisor to oversee electrical and automation engineering in the Burleson factory. The role focuses on safety, reliability, MES, digital solutions, and capital project delivery across the E&A and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation/MES with strong leadership, training, and project management skills, plus a track record of driving process improvements and capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Automation and/or MES with Electrical work.
• Experience supervising technical teams, contractors, or third parties.
• Experience delivering technical trainings and project management.
• Proven capability to lead engineering projects and equipment startups.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate automation and control engineering activities in the factory.
• Lead capital projects, safety, reliability, and sustainability goals.
• Maintain electrical systems, instrumentation, and MES execution.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and digital tools.
• Mentor and manage maintenance teams and contractors.
