Golden State Foods in Opelika, Alabama, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, uptime, and safety across all production lines.

The role partners with Operations to drive reliability, supervise Mechanics and Operators, and implement preventive maintenance, control systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, PLC programming, and reading diagrams/blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and directs the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff to optimize resources and workflows.
• Monitors maintenance of production machinery and spare parts inventory to meet schedules.
• Directs preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds to ensure safe operations.
• Designs or directs control system improvements to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Supervises maintenance staff, including training, performance appraisal, and motivation.
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
